The Park Monceau

French charm

My dear readers,

In the 8th arrondissement, in the district of Europe, there is a park which, bordered by private mansions with such French charm, make me dream as if I were still a child.

The park Monceau. Created in 1852, this park is full of artistic wonders made by sculptors equally inspired and talented. There is a majestic colonnade around the Naumachie basin which splashes us with all its splendor.

There are several statues in marble at the turn of the groves, representatives of famous musicians and writers such as Guy de Maupassant, Frédéric Chopin or Gounod or Musset.

My dear readers, I invite you to stroll there on a sunny day since this park will have inspired 5 paintings by Claude Monet who immortalized its beauty.

Lunch at the park

Even though most of the time, I walk alone to find inspiration, I decided on this beautiful day to share one of my passions with Elena for a romantic stroll in this park.

It was so pleasant ... The song of the birds accompanied our steps, the children who played around us laughing and running in every direction reinforced the embrace of our hands.

It was after a sweet kiss that we settled in the soft grass for lunch, accompanied by these melodies that reminded us how much we are in love. After this light meal, we walked away and contemplated the sculptures of these artists who impress us so much.

It is in this kind of moment when, minds elsewhere, these silences without embarrassment prove to us that our destinies were linked, that our eyes had to cross and that our love should initiate a dance which I hope will not know a end.

My dear readers, the soul of a park lives only through the love one can share in it

See you soon!
